 ta discovery are critical for the success of Enterprise Data Lakes in pract
 ice. Ontology-driven data discovery is gaining rapid attention. However, mo
 st of EIM is conducted using traditional (or proprietary) catalog/informati
 on management tools, and migration is not easy from both the technical and 
 the business perspective. Also, scaling up using current semantic-web/ontol
 ogy tools is challenging. It is important to take all these considerations 
 into account for effective EIM. This talk is aimed at providing some though
 ts on this&nbsp;problem from an end-to-end EIM perspective.</p>\n<p>The IBM
  Global Chief Data Office manages the Cognitive Enterprise Data Platform (C
 EDP) at IBM. We present some thoughts and pragmatic experiences while imple
